Pet restrictions:
(1) An owner, tenant or occupant must not keep any pets on a strata lot other than one or more of the following:
(A) An aquarium no larger than 20 gallons with appropriate number of fish
(B) Up to two caged birds
(C) Two small dogs or two domestic cats, or one small dog and one domestic cat
(2) No dogs which is fully grown shall exceed the height of 16 inches (40.64 centimeters) measured in accordance with the Canadian/American Kennel Club Rules. A photo from the American Kennel club is attached at the back of Bylaws for guidance. Any dog which exceed the heights= of 16” (40.64) centimeters) will be required to be removed. This Bylaw shall not apply to registered Assistance Dogs.
(3) No Vicious dogs are permitted in any Strata Lot or on any portion of common property. For the purpose of the bylaw, a vicious dog means the following:
(A) Any dog that has killed or injured any person or another animal while running at large or on a leash
(B) Any dog that aggressively harassed or pursues another person or animal while running at large or on leash
(C) any dog primarily owned in full or in part for the purpose of dog fighting or is trained for dog fighting
(D) A Pit Bull terrier, American Pit Bull terrier, Pit Bull, Staffordshire Bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, or, any dog of mixed breeding which included any if these breeds; or any dog which has the appearance and the physical characteristics predominantly conforming to the standards for any of those above breeds, as established by the Canadian/ American Kennel Club, as determined by a veterinarian licensed to practice in British Columbia.
About the building:
Right from the beautiful earth tone wall panels and compass motif inlaid into the floor mosaic of the lobby, this building is grand. It was built in 1999 by Bosa across the street from the Lions Gate Hospital on Chesterfield Avenue. The building is home to 101 units spread over 17 floors. Note, that in order to be eligible to lease your suite you must live in the building for a minimum of 24 months.
